Maker Faire Denver has grown from a mini Maker Faire to the first Feature Faire in the Mountain West region. Maker Faires, called the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth, are family-friendly showcases of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and celebration of the Maker Movement. The Flagship Bay Area Maker Faire was born in 2005 out of the launch of Make: magazine as an opportunity for makers of all skills, interests, and ages to connect face-to-face and share their projects, insights, and excitement about making. Colorado’s first Faire came in 2013 with the NoCo Mini Maker Faire and in 2014 with the first Denver Mini Maker Faire.
