COVID-19 Efforts
[i am a maker] (https://iamamaker.org) is working with local partners including the Denver Sewing Collective (https://denversews.com/) to mobilize a home sewist network to make face masks for hospitals across the state. [i am a maker] is also sourcing materials for the maker community locally and nationally so makerspaces across the US can continue to support the numerous requests for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by their area hospitals and medical centers. [i am a maker] is a strategic partner for the Make4Covid (https://www.make4covid.co/) program just launched in partnership with the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Inworks. If you would like to become involved in any of these efforts, please reach out to Karen Corliss here. (mailto:[email protected]).
